Win 4 Swagbucks a Day ... Every Day!

I bet you know by now that I LOVE SWAGBUCKS!!!  I get a thrill every time I search and win.

There are lots of ways to earn Swagbucks.  The most common of course is using Swagbucks for every search you do.  Sometimes you win and sometimes you don't.  Swagbucks occasionally posts Swagbucks codes in various places ... the Swagbucks Blog, the Toolbar, Twitter and the Swagbucks Widget.  Sometimes you may see those before they expire and sometimes you may not.  FYI:  I post on Facebook when there is a Swagcode out and where to find it.  If you're not following Saving Bits and Pieces on Facebook you should be.

In addition to these ways to earn did you know that you can get ...
4 Swagbucks a day?  Everyday!

Get one Swagbuck everyday in each of the following ways:
  1.  Everyday you will get one Swagbuck just for logging in to the Toolbar.  Don't have the toolbar?  Go to your Swagbucks account and download it now.  Don't have an account?  Get one now.
  2. Everyday you can get one Swagbuck just by clicking through the No Obligation Special Offers.  The link is in the Quick Links list on the Swagbucks homepage.  You can choose to submit or skip each offer.  Your Swagbuck will be awarded at the end of the few pages of offers.
  3. Everyday you will get one Swagbuck by clicking on the Trusted Surveys link. It's in the
     Quick Links list too.
  4. Everyday you will get one Swagbuck by taking the Daily Poll.  And you guessed it ... the link is in the Quick Links list.
So that's 4 Swagbucks a day, every day .... and 28 Swagbucks a week ...  120 Swagbucks a month!!  I just earned my 4 for today and it took me about a minute.  Go get your's now!

Menu Plan Monday July 5th

As if Summer days and evenings haven't been busy enough .... this week is going to be the busiest yet.  Two of my boys have Basketball Camp Monday - Friday from 6-8:30.  That means earlier dinners than usual and since I'm sure we will still be having fun pool/play days the dinners need to be quick and easy too.

We're also taking on a painting project starting on Friday.  I can't wait!  (Until it's done that is ... the in between painting chaos is a struggle for me.)  My wonderful hubby and I .... him more than me ... are going to paint our kitchen, family room and living room.  New paint is long overdue.  I'm working to be realistic about the project.  You know how things like this always take longer than planned right??  (Why is that??)  Any tips you have to make projects like this go more smoothly I'm all ears ... aside from paying someone to do it that is.  I've added take-out dinners to our painting budget because I'm sure my kitchen will be a mess for most of the weekend and then some.

Here's what's for dinner this week...

Monday - Pasta Salad
Tuesday - Spaghetti
Wednesday - Hamburgers, Veggies and/or Fruit
Thursday - Shredded BBQ Chicken Sandwiches, Salad
Friday - Leftovers
Saturday - Take Out/Dinner Out
Sunday - Take Out/Dinner Out

What are you having for dinner this week?

If you're local I hope you've been to ... or at least heard of ... Coupons.com New Month means New Coupons

Coupons.com

Coupons.com is probably the site I print the most coupons from.  There are usually pages and pages available.  The first of each month they release new coupons and reset some favorites.  There are print limits for their coupons and once those limits are reached you won't be able to print those coupons.

So today is the day to check out what is available and print those you think you will use. There is a fine line between printing what you will use and printing just to avoid print limits.  I hate cleaning out expired coupons from my binder and throwing away printed coupons ie wasted paper and ink.  Take a minute to look around Coupons.com today and print those of most interest to you.

Here are some that I'll be printing ....

$.50/1 Del Monte Gold Extra Sweet Pineapple

$.35/1 Mike-sell's Product - These chips are my hubby's favorite and coupons are rare.

$1/1 Garnier Fructis Shampoo, Conditioner or Treatment

$1/1 Raisinets 6 Pack

$.55/1 Original Cheerios

$.50/1 Nature Valley Granola Thins - These are new....I bet there will be a sale on them soon??

$.50/1 Betty Crocker Warm Delights - Free or almost free when on sale

$.55/1 Chex Mix

$.50/1 Nature Valley Sweet & Salty Granola Bars

What are you printing?

Movie Deals .... at the Theater

We don't go to the movie theater very often.  It's way too expensive.  But .... I've heard about and come across several movie deals lately that should make going to see a movie a little more affordable. We have taken advantage of Bargain Tuesday's at National Amusments (Showcase Cinema De Lux near us) twice lately.

AMC Theaters

AMC Theater's Weekday Escape - All day Monday - Thursday and before noon on Friday, Saturday and Sunday tickets are half price.  Movies with weekday openings and holiday periods are excluded.  There is an upcharge for special theaters like IMAX, IMAX 3D etc.

Even better ... if you live in or will be visiting Philadelphia, San Francisco, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York City or Washington DC Areas you can purchase AMC movie tickets for just $4.00 here.

Summer Movie Camp -  10 am every Tuesday now through August 10, 2010 tickets for Summer Movie Camp are just $1.00.  See locations and movies scheduled for each date here.

National Amusements
Showcase, Showcase Cinema De Lux, Multiplex

National Amusement have several different special programs each offered one day a week.  For participating locations, schedules and more details click on the links below.  All specials say limited time only but don't list an end date.

Silver Screen Classics - See classics from the 1930's-1980's on the Big Screen for just $2.00.

Bargain Tuesdays - Tickets for all shows is just $6.00 all day.  Includes IMAX, IMAX 3D etc.  We saw Toy Story 3 in IMAX 3D on Tuesday last week.

Senior Wednesdays - If you are 60 or older see any show all day on Wednesday's for just $4.50.

The Popcorn Club - Kids movie club.  See details here.

Rave Motion Pictures

Free Family Film Festival - Tuesday and Wednesdays for 8 weeks over the Summer get Free Admission to G or PG rated movies.  See scheduled movies here.

Regal Cinemas

Free Family Film Festival - Same name as Rave but different list of movies at Regal Cinemas.  It looks like these are double features.

If you know of any other movie theater specials, comment or email me with the details.  I'll add them here for everyone.  Let me know if you see any good movies!

I Love Productive Days!!

Some days, especially Summer Days, are much more productive than others.  I thrive on "getting things accomplished." My hubby often hears me say "I don't feel like I accomplished anything today."  When of course I've done something but maybe not what or as much as I planned to do.  I sometimes often feel overwhelmed on fun play days thinking about all of the things not getting done at home.  Is that just me?

Yesterday was a great day!  I went to a Spinning Class in the morning.  Planned a grocery trip when I got home.  Went to Subway with my family for lunch and then grocery shopping all by myself. (My shopping trip post will get done later tonight hopefully.) I was able to get everything and only the things on my list exactly as I had planned out.

I bought about 8 lbs of chicken breasts.  I put half into my crock pot with black beans, salsa and taco seasoning when I got home and shredded it when it was done.  That means that tonight's dinner is almost done!  Plus there are 2 more dinners worth in the freezer.  The other half of the chicken went into my stove top smoker for last night's dinner.  I cut up a watermelon for snacks and a picnic we're going on today.  Later after dinner I cut up the leftover smoked chicken and made chicken salad for the same picnic.  I also bought quite a bit of ground beef to cook up and freeze for future dinners.  That's the one thing on my list that I didn't get to yesterday.

Instead, I spent the evening playing kick ball and a board game with my kids, hubby and my BFF's 2 boys too.   I relax and enjoy play time much more when I've had a productive day!  I stayed up late (while my house was quiet) did some blogging and even scheduled next weeks Menu Plan Monday already.

Now I can enjoy today with my boys and lots of friends.  We're going creeking and having a picnic for lunch.  Then I get to go for a pedicure with my mom!  At the end of the day today if I say that I didn't accomplish anything productive all day it will be just fine.

Why am I telling you all of this?  It just felt like a good day to share.  What does a productive day mean to you? I hope you are getting to take and enjoy some play time too!
