Meijer Ziplock Bag Deal Update

Update:  Sorry guys!  2 Readers have alerted me that the Mealbox coupon expired yesterday. Even still we can get 4 boxes of Ziploc Bags for just $.25 each after coupons and catalina.
Thanks Katie & K!

I just came back from Meijer for the awesome 2 Day Sale.  The 2/$3 Ziploc Bags were still out of stock.  I asked for a rain check but was told no because the sale is a "Price Drop."  Rain checks are only an option for items in the ad not Price Drops.  However .... I checked the shelf tag and the good news is the that the Price Drop price of 2/$1.50 doesn't end until 10/10/10.  The Custom Coupon offer is good through 10/2/10 so we have time to still score this great deal!!

In case you missed it in an earlier post ... here are the deal details again.

Buy 4 Boxes of Ziploc Bags @ $1.50 ea = $6.00
Use 2 $1.50/2 Ziploc Coupons
Stack with 2 $1.50/2 Ziploc Mealbox Coupons
Pay nothing out of pocket!
AND Get a $2.00 Custom Coupon when you buy 3 or more boxes of Ziploc Bags!

There are several other Ziploc coupons out that would make this a great deal too! Stock up!!

Meijer: Lipton Recipe Secrets

I mentioned this in my Meijer Trip post today but thought that it was worth a post all of it's own.  Meijer has the Lipton Recipe Secrets ... Vegetable, Onion etc ... priced at $.99 this week.  Buy 2 and get a Custom Coupon for $.75 off you next purchase.

I bought 2 boxes today and received a coupon for $1/3 Lipton Recipe Secrets in addition to the $.75 custom coupon.  I decided to use the coupon to buy 3 more boxes and .... got another $1/3 coupon plus the custom coupon.  That means that I paid just $.49 ea for 5 boxes after coupon and custom coupons.  Plus I still have a $1/3 coupon for next time.  Not sure if all purchases of 2 or more boxes will generate the $1/3 coupon but it's worth a try.

I use the Onion soup mix in several crock pot and cool weather dishes.  The Vegetable soup mix is great in spinach dip.
