Meijer is joining the electronic coupon world with their New mPerks Program.  It's one you won't want to miss especially now with a $5.00 off any $5.00 or more purchase coupon available!  (See more about the coupon below)

Here's the scoop:

You must have a cell phone that is text enabled.  Use that cell phone number when you register with mPerks.  Once you've completed the enrollment you will receive a text message to verify your cell number.  Enter the activation code from the text online and you'll be all set to get started!  You will find a list of available coupons.  Click on the "Clip It" button under each coupon you want and the coupon will be added to your list.

When checking out look for the mPerks button on the U-Scan or Credit Card Machine.  Simply tap it and any coupons you have "clipped" will come off your total .... as long as you have purchased the corresponding item of course.

So for the $5.00 off $5.00 coupon ... when you register and "clip" the mPerks coupons you will see a coupon good for $5.00 off a $5.00 or more purchase.  It says it is good through August 28th.  I wonder if that means you can only clip it through the 28th but can use it after that OR if you must clip it and use it by the 28th??  Anyone know??

I made a very small and very quick trip to Meijer today so I could try this out before I posted about it.  It was so easy!!  I went through a U-Scan lane.  It really only took that one extra tap on the mPerks button on the screen and $5.00 came off my total!!
