Lee Dewyze's Princess - Free MP3 on Amazon

This last season of American Idol was the first that I've watched.  I know "What rock have I been under, right?"   Anyway Lee Dewyze was one of my favorites and I was thrilled when he won.  My boys are asking if I'll take them to see him in concert.  Uh ... I doubt that'll happen but they were happy when I added our first Lee Dewyze song to my music library today.  Amazon is offering the MP3 Princess by Lee Dewyze for FREE.   Enjoy!

Menu Plan Monday June 7th

Making a list of the contents of my freezers has been on my To Do List for a week or so.  I got to cross it off the list on Saturday.  Both of my freezers were full and I guessed correctly that I'd find things in both that I didn't know were there.  With the list completed, I made a Menu Plan for this week and started one for each of the next two weeks also.  I found the Shredded Potato Quiche recipe to use up some of the 2 bags of hash browns I found ... one in each freezer.  I'm using the cooked Italian Sausage I found instead of ham and will add some sun dried tomatoes too.

There are many easy sandwich dinners on this week's plan.  Lazy Summer days means less cooking around here.  Do you have a favorite easy Summer time dinner idea to share?

Here's what's for dinner this week...

Monday - Shredded Potato Quiche with Italian Sausage instead of Ham
Tuesday - Stuffed Baked Potato Bar - Chicken, Bacon Bits, Broccoli, Cheese, Sour Cream, Salsa
Wednesday - Grilled Asian Chicken Breasts, Rice & Stir Fry Veggies
Thursday - Italian Sausage Hoagies, Grilled Peppers & Onions, Salad
Friday - Panini Sandwiches, Mac & Cheese, Corn
Saturday - Family Graduation Party
Sunday - Chicken Salad with Grapes & Pecans, Pretzels, Veggies

What are you having for dinner this week?

Don't Miss the Summer Swag!!

Swagbucks is going to be VERY good to us starting next Monday, June 7th as they kick off the Summer of Swag.  If you having started Swagbucking (is that a word?) yet ... now is the time to get started!!  If you've set up a Swagbuck account but aren't using it ... now is the time to start!!  Monday will be a big day with no less than 5 different Swag Codes available throughout the day.  Watch the Swagbucks toolbar, Facebook page, Twitter, Widget and blog for the clues/codes.  I love Swag Codes!

Watch the Saving Bits and Pieces Facebook page too.  I can't give out the Swagcodes but I can (and do) post to my Facebook page when there is a code available.

Plus there's more!

Starting Monday there will be a "Big Bill" amount each day that EVERY 7th SEARCH will win!  Monday that Big Bill amount will be 25 Swagbucks!!  It will be so easy to watch your Swagbucks account grow.

What is Swagbucks?  It is a search engine powered by Google.  Use Swagbucks for every internet search you do and randomly win Swagbucks just for searching.  Then use those Swagbucks to buy things from the Swagstore.  My favorite are the Amazon Gift Cards.  I'm accumulating them to use for Christmas shopping.  Get started here or learn more here!

Don't forget to refer your friends too!  Every time they win you win too .... up to the first 1000 Swagbucks.

A New Learning Curve ....

Bear with me a little while I figure out a blogging schedule with my kiddos home on Summer Break.  I'm sure that I'm stretching it a little to claim that I'd figured out a blogging schedule while they were still in school but it's definitely going to be a new challenge now.  This is the first time I've been on my laptop all day and that's very unusual!

We celebrated the boy's first day off with friends at Kings Island.  After a hot day of rides/roller coasters, we came home and quickly left again for some time at the YMCA outdoor pool.  I was thrilled that all 3 boys ... especially the youngest ... passed the swim test on the first try.  That means there will be lots of water sliding in their future!! We're getting ready to watch a movie together now.  I may or may not get back on the computer tonight.  Have a great evening!!

Champps: Buy One Burger Get One Free

Use this coupon at Champps for Buy One Burger Get One Free!  It's good through June 15, 2010.  Not good on the 1/2 Burger Monday's.

Today is my kiddos last day of school.  I had Fajitas on my menu plan for tonight's dinner.  I spent a lazy afternoon at a friend's pool with my little one instead of going grocery shopping.  This coupon came at a great time!  Paired with my $15 credit on the Champps Mother's Day card I have, we won't spend too much by diverting from the menu plan with a dinner out instead.
