Menu Plan Monday October 25th

It's been a busy few weeks around here of planning, story telling and keeping secrets.  All leading up to a surprise party here this past Friday night for my BFF!  (Last week's menu plan said that Friday night's dinner was just a birthday dinner.  That was just one of those stories!)  It was a great time with friends and family!  It's hard to believe that we're old enough to have been friends for 29 years .... but yes we've been friends for that long.  Today is her birthday .... and it's a big one!

Happy Birthday Tricia!!!!

Chicken Marsala has been on the menu plan several times lately and I'm bound and determined to make it happen this week!  It's even the dinner I told Tricia I was going to make for her birthday dinner but Chicken Marsala for 35 people wasn't happening.  I'm mostly looking forward to the mushrooms! I think mushrooms are something that most people really like or really don't like.  I add lots of extra mushrooms when I make Chicken Marsala .... I definitely fall into the really like mushrooms category! Which side do you fall on?

Here's what's for dinner this week...

Monday - Beef Vegetable Soup & Homemade Bread

Tuesday - Taco Bar

Wednesday - Chicken Marsala, Mashed Potatoes

Thursday - Hamburgers, Homemade Fries, Veggie

Friday - Dinner Out

Saturday - Breakfast for Dinner ~ Not sure what yet.  Maybe a hashbrown casserole.

Sunday - Chili ~ Easy peasy dinner before Trick or Treat!

What are you having for dinner this week?

Chicken Marsala sounds delicious to me! It was the first dinner I ever learned to cook (for my boyfriend, who is now my hubby). Great menu plan you've got here.

I hope you'll stop by and visit sometime over at Free 2 Be Frugal.
