Menu Plan Monday -- The Staycation Edition

The boys and I survived actually did quite well last week but we are soooo glad to have Tim back home.  This week we get to move from a school week without dad to school Spring Break with dad home on vacation.  We're not going anywhere but have lots of ideas for family days this week.

This week's Menu Plan is going to look different than normal.  We aren't going to decided ahead of time which activity we will do each day so .... I'm not going to plan meals for specific days either.  I'm sure we will eat out a little more than normal, use the crock pot and pack picnic lunches/dinners when it works with our plans.

Some of the activities on our list for the week are a day at the Cincinnati Zoo....don't forget about the Zoo Membership Sale good through March 31st.  Picnic and rocket launching at the park.  Going to see the movie How To Train a Dragon.   Rock climbing at Rock Quest and day trip to the Ohio Caverns. Plus family movies and board game time at home.

Here are the five dinners I'm planning to make at some point this week.

Mexican Night - Shredded Mexican Chicken from the freezer for tacos & nachos
New for us! Slow Cooker Italian Beef Sandwiches with Veggies & Chips
Homemade Pizza
Breakfast for Dinner - Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs & Fruit
Spaghetti & Meatballs

Enjoy your week!  What are you having for dinner?
