Meijer Trip

Ooops ... my 24 cans of diced tomatoes didn't make it in the picture! I just realized that they're still in the trunk of my car.

Here's what I bought:
4 Boxes of Honey Nut Cheerios ~~~ $1.67 ea  *See note Below*
1 Box of Bounce ~~~ $3.99
2 4 roll pkgs of Angel Soft ~~~ $1.32 ea
3 Boxes of Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks ~~~ $1.88 ea **See Note Below**
1 Glad Press N Seal ~~~ $2.88
8 lbs of Meijer Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts ~~~ $14.30 ~ $1.79/lb
24 Cans of Red Gold Diced Tomatoes ~~~ $.79 ea  ***See Note Below***
8 46 oz bottles of V-8 Fusion ~~~ $2.49ea
2 Loaves of Aunt Millies Bread ~~~ $1.50 ea
10 Boxes of Finish Tablets ~~~ $3.29 ea  ****See Note Below****

I spent $57.63 oop. I saved a total of $91.26....$48.10 of that was coupon savings....for a total of 61% saved!

* Honey Nut Cheerios were not listed in Meijers ad as a participating item for the Buy 4 General Mills Cereals Get $4 off instantly at checkout BUT I did get the $4 off.  Don't forget about the printable Honey Nut Cheerios coupons.  Use them along with the store promo for a $1.32 money maker!

**Betty Crocker Fruit Snack Catalina Deal  Buy 3 Get $1.50 OYNO, Buy 4 Get $2.50 OYNO, Buy 5 or more Get $3.50 OYNO

***I shared my Red Gold Tomato and V-8 Fusion coupons with a friend. I thought 45 cans of tomatoes and 20 bottles of juice was a little excessive.  There will be another sale.

****My Meijer was out of the Finish Gel Packs .... which I prefer.  I bought 10 boxes of the tablets and got a raincheck for the Gel Packs.  I'll get 10 of those next time I'm in the store.  I could have waited to buy all 20 boxes but a raincheck is only good for 12 items.

I love when I find something in the car that I forgot to unpack. Well, I love it as long as it's not a perishable!

Noelle,
I was glad the tomatoes were in my trunk and not left at the store .... I've done that before too!
