Menu Plan Monday November 1st

Cold weather is here.  I broke down and turned the heat on today when it was 61 degrees in the house.  It looks like it will be staying on since the week to come will be in the 50's for the high.

I'm trying a Chicken Tortilla soup recipe from my aunt on Monday.  It's a crock pot recipe so I can have all of the work done early in the day.  I love soup and using my crock pot so it's a perfect recipe to try.  Do you have favorite soup recipes?  Or crock pot recipes??  Please send them to me!  I'd love to share them!

Here's what's for dinner this week...

Monday - Chicken Tortilla Soup & Cheese Quesadillas  Thanks Aunt Kim for the recipe!

Tuesday - Shredded BBQ Chicken Sandwiches, Green Beans & Buttered Noodles

Wednesday - Loaded Baked Potato Bar - Chicken, Broccoli, Cheese, Sour Cream, Salsa

Thursday - Smoked Sausage, Potatoes & Carrots

Friday - Soccer End of Season Pizza Party

Saturday - Going to a Wedding!  Congratulations Kristy & Jay!!!

Sunday - Garlic & Rosemary Roasted Pork Loin, Mashed Potatoes & Roasted Vegetables

What are you having for dinner this week?

Funny - I just threw a chicken tortilla soup in the crock pot for tomorrow! I found one on allrecipes.com that had 2000+ reviews, figure Tuesday/karate night would be a good night to try it! Curious how yours turned out.
Hope you enjoyed your kidless evening!!

We'll have to compare! Since we had an impromptu evening without kids the ingredients for out soup are in the fridge waiting to go in the crock pot for tonight instead.

Baked potato bar sounds delish! I think I'll have to give it a try sometime soon.
