I keep a list of all the main ingredient .... meats .... that I have in my freezers. I add to and delete from that list the things I buy and eat every week. The list is a great help when planning my menu plan and grocery trips each week.
I just added the chicken I cooked on Friday and then counted the number of things I have one hand. I'm surprised to find that I have enough meats for 27 meals! Wow I knew my stockpile was in good shape but I really didn't expect the number to be that big. Looks like only the best of the best stock up items will be on my grocery list for the next few weeks.
After last week's busy week with many dinners out or away from home.... It looks like we will be eating dinner at home every night this week.
Here's what's for dinner this week....
- Monday - Slow Cooker Chicken & Dumplings, Broccoli
- Tuesday - Beef Vegetable Soup
- Wednesday -Hamburgers, Homemade Fries, Carrots & Dip
- Thursday - Leftovers
- Friday - Chicken Tetrazini
- Saturday - Homemade Sausage Pizza
- Sunday - Chicken Marsala, Mashed Potatoes, Veggie
